Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He met and married the love of his life Patty Jean Williams and together had 2 sons. After his years of service, he began a career as an industrial sales rep. His career caused him to move his family to many places, but always returning to his hometown Bakersfield. Paul played the base fiddle in a cowboy band and loved ole time gospel music. He enjoyed playing softball on a Christian league; and supported his sons playing baseball as well. He was a collector of belt buckles and also volunteered at the Veterans Hospital here in Bakersfield. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Veterans Hospital.
