Paul Swanson was born May 19, 1937 in Irvin, Pennsylvania, He came to California when he was a teenager and resided in Shafter, California before moving to Bakersfield, California. Paul was a truck driver for 50 plus years and was the best truck driver. Paul is survive by his ex- wife Shirley Swanson his daughters Diana Prater, Donna Laycheck his two stepchildren that he raised Patricia Harris, Heather Reynolds, His sister Debbie Day of Virginia and his brother Bruce Swanson of Canada, His grandchildren Bryan Swanson, Jada Harris, Dwayne Harris, Natasha Reynolds and Ryan Boyd.
Paul past away on October 28, 2010, he was battling brain cancer. Paul will be loved and missed so very much. I Love You Dad, Patricia
