Sammy Dale Golden

Sammy Dale Golden, 56, passed away Tuesday February 25, 2016 at Clearwater Care Facility, family lovingly by his side as he drifted off to peace. Sammy was born to Hank and Lavern Golden in Arvin CA on June 4, 1959. He lived most of his life in Bakersfield CA before residing in Harper Kansas with his loyal lab Molly Anne.

As a young man Sammy graduated from Arvin High School in 1977. He was a hard worker and loyal employee of KSi for over 31 years. Sammy considered himself a traveling gypsy once his children were grown. He loved his job and the opportunity it gave him to meet new people, no one was ever considered a stranger in his big blue eyes. Sammy’s genuine kindness to all people, his devotion and love for his family including his labs is a tribute to the beauty of his heart and soul. His contagious big cheeked smile will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know and meet him.

Sammy is survived by his brother, Ronnie Golden; his children, Sammy Jasen, Kindra Dale, Summer Kelsie and Shelbie Taylor; his four grandchildren, Addison, Logan, Tristen and Enslie; niece and nephew, Leah and Matthew along with so many friends.

Memorial Services are being handled by Mish Funeral Home and will be held Monday, February 29, 2016, at 1:00pm. The location is 120 Miner Avenue Bakersfield CA 93308.
