Catherine Marie Potter

On May 28, 2025, Catherine Marie Potter (Reid-Adams), age 90 passed following a brave battle with chronic kidney disease. Mom was born on June 9, 1934, in Northampton County, Virginia and was raised in Crisfield, Maryland. She later moved to Baltimore and resided there throughout her long life.

Mom loved visiting with family, reading and spending time with her young great grandchildren, Zander and Levi. She loved crab cakes, home cooking, shopping and being independent. She enjoyed bus trips with her cousin, Catherine Eckrich, who lived across the hall from her for many years and predeceased her in 2010.

Mom will be deeply missed by her children, Linda (David) Miller, of Lewes Delaware, Glenn Potter, of Baltimore, Reginald Bradshaw Jr. of Virginia, Curtis Bradshaw of Baltimore. She was predeceased by her dear son, John Potter in 2010.

She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Christian (Jennifer) of Sarasota Florida, Nicholas (Holly) of White Hall, Maryland, and Brittany of Baltimore. Cherished great-grandchildren include Elsa & Mira of Sarasota Florida, Caelen & Collen of White Hall, Maryland, Zander & Levi of Baltimore Maryland. In addition, Mom will be remembered fondly by her nieces, Vivian of Crisfield Maryland and Elaine of Joppa, Maryland, along with her friends and care givers at Manor Care/Promedica Nursing Home in Baltimore. The family thanks her caregivers at the nursing home for taking such good care of our Mom.

Charles Zeiler Funeral Home in Baltimore will handle arrangements and her guestbook for memories can be found on their website www.charlesszeiler.com . A christian mass will be said in Mom's honor. Interment will be private. Donations can be made in Catherine's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital www.stjude.org or a charity of your choice.
