On February 22, 2021, Joseph James Bastianelli passed away. He was the beloved brother of Anna Marie Serafini and her companion Phil, Raymond Bastianelli and his wife Sharon, and the late Antionette Alena; loving uncle of Lisa Vandegiessen and her husband Theo, Donna Hardesty and her husband Charlie, Gina Serafini Coutuand her husband Dale, and Dana Simick and her husband Jason; dear friend of Dino Zeytinoglu. Also survived by many loving great-nieces and nephews. Due to the current Covid restrictions the funeral services and interment are private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joseph’s name to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org

My sincere sympathy to Joe's family and friends. He was such a quiet individual. We were classmates at St. Leo's both living in the houses we grew up in.

I will miss seeing him pass my window when he went shopping at Whole Foods or seeing him sitting on his steps in the warmer weather.
