On December 31, 2016, LUCIAN “RAY” Murphy passed away in Clarksburg W. Virginia where he lived with his sister in law Fay Murphy and nephew Billy Murphy. He is the devoted husband of the late Margaret Murphy and Alice Mooney Murphy; step father of Charles, Dave, Glen, Michael, Dawn, and Sean. Ray is survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents William O. Murphy and Lona Hughes Murphy, and siblings Roy and Alvin Murphy and Ruth Lorentz.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Burgee Henss Seitz Funeral Home, Inc., 3631 Falls Rd.,21211, on Thursday from 10-1:00pm, where services will be held at 1:00pm.
Interment will be at a later date in Maryland Veterans Cemetery at Garrison Forrest.
