Maloney, passed away at the age of 64 on April 17, 2018 in Frederick, Maryland. He graduated Francis Scott Key High School of Union Bridge, Maryland in 1972. Mike was a talented musician who played guitar, piano, violin, saxophone, and also sang. He had a passion for teaching music and took pride in his students, especially those who made it to All County Orchestra in Carroll County. He also enjoyed bicycling, bird watching, and classic movies. He had the soul of a poet. Death is that state in which one exists only in the memories of others which is why it is not an end. No goodbyes, just good memories. Hailing frequencies closed. Special thanks to the devoted, hard-working staff at Genesis Healthcare in Frederick, Maryland. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Diabetes Foundation. Services will be announced at a later date.
