On January 12, 2025 Stavroula K. "Voula" Christakou passed away. She was the beloved daughter of the late Kostandinos and Panagiota Christakou; devoted sister of Helen Bisbikis, and the late Popi Christakou, Vasiliki Stratakos, Georgia Goranitis, and Poletimi Avarkiotis; cherished aunt to many loving nieces and nephews and their families; loving Godmother of Georgia Maniadakis.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025 at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church at 11:00 AM, where Stavroula will lie in state from 10:00 AM- 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Stavroula's name to the St. Nicholas Ladies Philoptochos Society, or the St. Nicholas Diamonds, 520 S. Ponca St. Baltimore, MD 21224.
