Alec Neil Thompson

Mr. Alec Thompson On October 17,2014 passed away in his sleep at Barrhead

Continuing Care Centre, where he had been tenderly cared for over the past 3 years,

Born March 5,1922. At the age of 92 having lived a full life of farming southwest of

Barrhead in the Stewartfield area. Friends and Family will fondly remember Alec

through Playing card games, crokonole, floor curling, countless Softball games throughout Alberta and United States, jigsaw puzzles, hunting and dancing. Alec is lovingly survived by Daughter Betty (Leslie) Reeves with Granddaughter Candace

Thompson and her Son Aidan. Grandson Clayton (Amber) Reeves and their

Children Lacey, Dustin, Amton, Tyren. Grandson Ryan (Vicki) Reeves and their

daughter Hannah, and Grandson Tyson Reeves. Daughter Eileen Kalmbach with

Granddaughter Sherri (Adam) Brown; and there child Haydin. Grandson Todd

Kalmbach and his children Tyler, Tennielle, Paige, Katie. Son-in-law Vern

Kalmbach. Daughter Karen (Don) Kelm. Nephews of Alec; Brian (Eileen)

Thompson, George (Judy) Andrews, and Jack Unger. Nieces; Joyce (Larry) Keetch,

Shirley (^c^) Owen. Great Nieces and Great Nephews. Alec Thompson is

Predeceased by: Great Grandson Devin Klein; Grandson Steven Kelm; Wife Phillis

(Cooper); Parents Joesph and Elizabeth; Sisters Peggy, Eileen, and May; Brothers

Lin, George and Bob. A Graveside Memorial to be held in 2015. Any donations can

be made to the Mosside United Church Cemetery. RR3 Barrhead, AB. T7N 1N4
