Anthony James Halladay

It is with such sorrow and profound sadness that the family of Anthony James Halladay announce his sudden passing on February 19th due to complications from a medical condition. Anthony loved doing carpentry work and was so proud to be starting his apprenticeship. Spending time with family and friends meant so much to him. He was proudest of his little brother Gabe and enjoyed teaching him and being his mentor. He spent a lot of time at Birch Cove where he had some of his happiest moments in his life.

Anthony leaves behind his immediate family, his Mother Carrie Halladay (Shannon Carlson), Brother Gaberiel, Grandma and Grandpa Jan and Cathy Halladay, Auntie and Uncle Michelle and Mark Hopp (Greg and William), Cousins Jesse and Layla Halladay and their mother Jana. Anthony was predeceased by his father Dan Friesen.

Special thanks to Travis Huculak, Dari Westby, George Ricard and his Calmar friends for being a good influence in his life. Anthony’s memory will live on in those who truly loved him and were there for him. He will forever be missed. There will be a private service. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
