Caroline Martin

It is with fond memory that we announce the passing of Caroline Martin.

Late of Bracken, Saskatchewan, passed away on February 12, 2015 at the age of 76 years. She is survived by her loving family; Children Carol (Don) Christie of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Robert Hodgins of Williams Lake B.C, Archie (Barb) Hodgins of Barrhead Alberta. Grandchildren; Angela (Matt) Quinnell of Mayerthorpe Alberta; Lyle (Kelsey) Hodgins of Westlock Alberta; Shantelle (Tyler) Kerik of Cremona. Great-Grandchildren Jared, Kolten, Alexis, Ava and Lukas. Brother; Archie McAulay of Edmonton Alberta. Sisters; Marjorie Graham of Edmonton Alberta, Merleen Rafters of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta and Shirley Martin of Edmonton Alberta. As well as numerous other family and many dear friends. Caroline was raised on the family farm by Viewfield, Saskatchewan. As a young adult she moved to Edmonton, where she married Neil Hodgins. They lived on the family farm by Fort Saskatchewan. Eventually the family moved to Regina, Caroline lived there until 1995. She moved to Barrhead to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She spent her last few years at the Keir Care center, where she passed away peacefully with family at her side. A Memorial Service will be held, Monday, February 16, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Bethel Pentecostal Church in Barrhead, AB. Donations gratefully accepted to STARS.
