

Anne was born in Pembroke, Ontario to Rhona and Hubert Neumann. She attended school in Timmins, Matachewan and Kirkland Lake, Ontario. She earned degrees at the University of Waterloo (Math) and UBC (Social Work).
Anne married David in Waterloo, then moved to Vancouver, B.C. After the birth of Janice, she worked for the GF Strong Clinic (Cerebral Palsy). Following David’s ordination, Anne was a stay-at-home mother of 5 for 15 years. She was active in church and community, living in Beaverlodge, Trochu and Barrhead, Alberta. During this time, she worked tirelessly to establish a workshop for the mentally handicapped, which overtime evolved to become Blue Heron Support Services, in Barrhead.
Anne returned to work as a social worker, mostly in Child Welfare for 2 decades. The last 8 years as the Child Welfare Consultant for the North West Region, commuting to Grande Prairie from Barrhead weekly. Anne leaves to celebrate her life; husband David, children, Janice, Paul, Sarah (Zandra), Philip (Cheryl), grandchildren Nicole (Garon) and Grady. Sister Judy (Gary), sister in laws Margaret-Ann, Mary and Margaret, nieces, nephews, and friends. Predeceased by her son Martin, Parents, siblings Mary & Danny, brother in laws George & Gordon.
