Florence Mohrmann

It is with great sadness the family of Florence Mohrmann announce her passing at the age of 86. She was predeceased by her devoted and loving husband, Lawrence Mohrmann. She is survived, and will be greatly missed, by her children Donna Mae Mohrmann, Michele (Brad) Schmidt and Pat (Renee) Mohrmann. She had seven cherished grandchildren: Angelique (Kristian) Sawyshyn, Margo Schmidt, Justine (Marcus) Allen, Hanna (Spencer) Voight, Sierra (Nolan) Schmidt, Natasha (Alekz) Moes, and Mikhael Mohrmann. She also had seven great grandchildren, Lena Sawyshyn, Casey and Oscar Allen, Kade and Brinn Voight, Dallas and Miller Schmidt. She is survived by her sisters, Esther Hauch, Doris O’Brien, Diane (Daryl) Romeo and Edna West, her brother Milton (Carol) Sommerfeld and her sister-in-law Audrey (Hugh) Dunnigan, and many close friends, nieces, nephews and other close family members. A Funeral Service will be held at Rose Garden Chapel in Barrhead, Alberta, Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 11: AM. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations to the Mellowdale Community Cemetery.
