Gary Earl Nelson

August 18, 1933 – March 1, 2013

Mr. Gary Nelson, late of Fort Assiniboine, AB, formerly of Timeu, AB, passed away on March 1, 2013 at the age of 79 years. He is survived by his loving family; four children, Gary (Shelly) Nelson of Fort Assiniboine, Patty (T.J.) Babcock of Lamont, Bob (Sue) Nelson of Red Deer, Mark (Malaika) Nelson of Spruce Grove; grandchildren, Matthew (Abby) Nelson, Daniel (Tory) Nelson, Tanya (Jason) Nelson, Jason (Nissa) Sonnenberg, Kristen (Ryan) Sonnenberg, Jamie Sonnenberg, Dustin Nelson, Heather Nelson, Nataya Nelson and Darius Nelson; great grandchildren, Chloe, Taylin and Walker; brother, Kevin Nelson; sister, Anne Nelson, brother-in-law, Sammy Sheren; sister-in-law, Ann Nelson. Gary was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Eileen; baby daughter, Jane; brothers Alf Nelson, Don Nelson; mother, Mabel McKenzie; step father, John McKenzie; father John Nelson; brother-in-law, Larry Ehl; sister-in-law, Tiny Sheren.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fort Assiniboine Legion with Donna McDowell celebrant.
