Kathy Follett

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kathy Follett of Mayerthorpe, AB at the young age of 55 years. Kathy was born September 21st, 1957 in Old Perlican, Newfoundland and was a RN and as of 2006 she worked as the Administrator of the Mayerthorpe Extendicare. Kathy will be deeply missed by her loving family; her son Michael Follett (Caitlin) of Mayerthorpe, sister Yvonne Benoit (Bernie) of Labrador City, NL, her nieces; Kristina Benoit of Halifax, NS, Natalie Laflamme (Richard) of Hinton, AB, and Brittany Benoit of Larador City, NL, her great-nephew Logan Laflamme, Aunt Joan & Uncles George Smith, Aunt Evelyn Smith, Uncles Jonah Follett, Uncles Lloyd Follett, and numerous other family and many dear friends.

Kathy is predeceased by her parents; Calvin and Martha (Smith) Follett and her Uncle Leonard Smith.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 11th, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion in Mayerthorpe, AB with Pastor Ruth Lotholz officiating. Interment will take place at the Mayerthorpe Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Kathy’s name to the Mayerthorpe Extendicare Resident Council Fund
