

Ruthie Anne Clark, late of Whitecourt, passed away December 14, 2020 at the age of 62. She was born in Mayerthorpe Alberta June 7, 1958 to Gerald and Helen Patterson. Ruthie was dearly loved and leaves behind many close friends and family members to whom she has spent a significant amount of time with. The last few years sharing her time with Shannon and Paulette. Ruthie loved the outdoors including golfing at the Mayerthorpe Golf course with her sister-friend Maureen, spending time in her flower gardens, and took pride in painting and renovating. One of her many heartfelt gifts was to take pictures of people enjoying life and giving the photos to those people. She believed in living life to its fullest and reminding others to enjoy everyday. She loved spending time in the sun with her flowers and birds, she has been known for her incredible love of hummingbirds watching them fight over her many feeders and admiring their brilliant colors. Ruthie always took the time to play with all the kids, oftentimes rejoicing in a good wrestle, tickle, pie in the face game or game of trouble. She greatly enjoyed watching their reactions to winning or losing. She leaves behind the love of her life Gerald Larson and Family. Daughter: Candace Clark and grandchildren Jade and Koen. Son: Curtis Patterson (Heather) and grandchild Aliah. Brother: Roger Patterson (predeceased) and family. Brother: Dell Patterson and family. Twin Sister: Laurel Patterson (predeceased), (Dave Doolittle) and family. Sister: Kelly Zerb (Bruce Zerb) and family. Sister: Connie Patterson (Gary Davidson; predeceased) and family.
