The family of Shirley Lewis is saddened to announce her passing on June 19th 2021 at the age of 84. Shirley is survived by her loving husband; Merle Lewis, along with children; Cyril MacMillan(Lauretta), David MacMillan(Joan), Sandra Lathe(Harold), Lyle Lewis(Judy), Lloyd Lewis, Faye Evans, grandkids; Rob (Andrea), Shawn, Ryan (Sarah), Chrissy, Stacey (Jay), Heidi (John), Amanda (Ryan), Mackenzie (Doug), Brennan, Kennedy, Zach, Ryker, Carson, great grandchildren; Tearstin, Teagan, Kobe, Mikayla, Jayden, Liam, Lauren, Tyler, Sophia, Megan, Elliott, Bennett, Oliver.

Shirley was born in Ottawa, Ontario, but spent a significant part of her life in Alberta. She raised her 3 children in Drayton Valley and in 1996, met and married Merle Lewis and moved to Fort Assiniboine where Merle had lived all of his life. Shirley enjoyed camping in their RV and meeting new friends. They later moved to Barrhead, Alberta where Shirley was able to spend time on her hobbies that included bingo, knitting and gardening. Shirley moved into the Kier Care Centre in Barrhead in 2014. One of Shirley’s fondest memories was spending time with her children and grandchildren, and great grandchildren. They were the love of her

life.
