Sophie Natelie Beaver

November 13, 1933 – October 17, 2012

Ms. Sophie Beaver, late of Barrhead, AB, passed away on October 17, 2012 at the age of 78 years. She is survived by her loving family; children, Valerie Cardinal of Edmonton, AB, Karen (Morris) Cartwright of Barrhead, AB, Michelle (Wesley) Walroth of Calgary, AB, Chantelle (Troy) Onuski of Edmonton, AB, Michael, Lorraine, Percy, Chester, and Sandra; sons by choice, Rod (Lynnette) of Fort McMurray, AB and Arland Hodgins of Victoria, BC; fourteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one brother, Mike Beaver of Wabasca, AB; two sisters, Lena Auger of Edmonton, AB, and Theresa Beaver of Wabasca, AB; as well as numerous other family and many dear friends. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Rose Garden Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 11:00 am at Rose Garden Chapel with Reverend David Pype officiating. Donations in memory of Sophie are gratefully accepted to the Barrhead Healthcare Centre (4815 – 51 Avenue, Barrhead, AB T7N 1M1).
