

Aaron A. Vasquez, 19, of Arlington, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2013. He was a member of the National Honor Society, Hispanic Student Association, Communicant of St. Ann Catholic Church, Bartlett, was a DJ at the University of Memphis campus radio station, WUMR, and a member of the Dean List at the University of Memphis. He also was the lead guitar player with the band, Taller than Giants and was a member of the Trey Jewell Band. Aaron is survived by his parents, Baloy and Desiree Vasquez; a sister, Annelise Vasquez, all of Arlington, TN; grandmothers, Margarita de Vasquez and Elvita de Regnault, both of Venezuela; aunts, Nohemi de Vasquez, Denise Regnault and Diana de Fernandez; great aunt, Zully Peña; uncles, Ernesto and Fidel Vasquez, Rogelio Medina and Argenis Fernandez,; great uncle, Jorge Cunningham; cousins, Jennifer, Ian and Jessica Medina, David, Moises and Argelia Fernandez, Fidel, Veronica, Nakari and Judy Vasquez, Jorge Sebastian, Juanmanuel, Marialejandra and Andreseduardo Cunningham. Aaron also leaves his extended family: Muth, Radcliff, Krayenhagen, Turner, Lumpkin, Van Frank, Rodriguez, Rapalo, Garcia, Cardenas, Colgate, Guillermo and Antonieta Rodriguez, the St. Ann Catholic Church and School and Nativity families and many, many others, too numerous to count. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, March, 26 from 5-8 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Funeral Mass will be said at 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 27 at St. Ann Catholic Church, Bartlett. Memorial gifts may be made to the Aaron Vasquez Memorial Fund (acct.# 5594478546) at any Wells Fargo.
