Albert “Buddy” Van Natta, 69, of Memphis, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2011. He was retired from Kroger, Co. and was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran. Mr. Van Natta is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Albert “Joey” and Janice Van Natta of Memphis; sister, Joan Leitsch of Louisville, KY and a granddaughter, Amber Van Natta of Oakland, TN. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Van Natta; a daughter, Michelle Van Natta and a sister, Jeanette Young. The family will receive friends this evening, Thursday, May 26 from 5-8 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 27 at the funeral home with interment to follow in Memorial Gardens, formerly Memory Hill Gardens.
