Ann Louise Boughton Briggs, 85, died Monday, September 5, 2011 in her Southaven, MS home. Mrs. Briggs was a long time member of Floyd Avenue Church of Christ in Shelby Forrest until she moved to Southaven and joined Goodman Oaks Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roger C. Boughton, and George W. Briggs; and her son, Raymond C. Boughton. Surviving are her 5 children, John M. (Lilie) Boughton of Cordova; Mary Ann (Bob) Bush of Winter Park, FL; Patricia (Rick) Ernst of Orlando, FL; Teresa Boughton of Atlanta, GA; and Yvonne (Michael) Fowler of Memphis; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Memphis, TN on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 from 5 – 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be on site at Memorial Gardens. The family requests that memorials be sent to Goodman Oaks Church of Christ in Southaven, MS.
