Anna Jewell Agee Smith, 81, of Memphis, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017. She was a member of Crosspointe Baptist Church where she attended the Ladies 5 Sunday school class. Anna’s most important thing in life was caring for her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Rodney Clifford Smith Sr., her son David Wayne Smith, and her siblings; Jerry Agee, Melvin Agee, Barbara Jennings, and Shirley Patterson. Anna is survived by her children; Karen Smith Curry (Jim), Rodney Clifford Smith Jr., Gail Smith Pigue (Ken), June Smith Dodson, and Jerry Ray Smith (Ana), as well as sixteen grandchildren , twenty two great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 12pm until service time at 2pm, on Friday, March 10, 2017, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N, Germantown Rd. Bartlett, TN 38133. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to the building fund at Crosspointe Baptist Church.
