Barbara was born August 22, 1959 in Memphis, TN to parents Charles Lemons and Edna Bullock Lemons, who preceded her in death.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Todd Ferguson, and their son, Robert Charles Ferguson. Barbara is also survived by her brothers: Steve Lemons (Janice), Leon Lemons, and David Morelli (Angela), as well as her nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Many knew Barbara through her work as a licensed optician, where she made friends and connected with an abundance of loyal customers because of her expertise and thoughtful, friendly, attentive care. We remember her love of nature, whether the mountains of East Tennessee, the beaches of the Gulf Coast, or listening to the birds in her beautiful backyard. And we remember Barbara’s fierce love of family and friends, her steady presence, her laughter, her encouragement, her bright light in our lives. We are incredibly grateful for her.
