Benjamin Harding McTyre

Benjamin Harding McTyre passed away Monday, April 26, 2021, at the age of 32. He lived in Memphis all his life, and was a member of the first graduating class of Arlington High School 2008. Ben was an avid reader, gamer, loyal friend, and long time employee with Best Buy. He is survived by his fiancé – Laura Curry, his parents - Walter and Carrol McTyre, siblings - Jacob, Kate, Paige, grandparents - Bobby and Gayle Harding, Aunt and Uncle - Paula and Jeff Beale. All of whom played a significant role in Ben’s upbringing. He is also survived by his grandmother, Kimble McTyre and his namesake, his uncle, Ben McTyre. He was known as Uncle Benny to many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 pm with the service immediately following at 2:00 pm, Monday, May 3, 2021 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Literacy Mid-South.
