Bettye Maude Mobley

Born: December 7, 1926

Our Heavenly Father chose to call her home to be with Him on February 24, 2013.

She was a 40 year member of Mobberly Baptist Church located in Longview, Texas. Her whole life was spent serving the Lord and being a devoted mother and wife. Many of those years at Mobberly Baptist were spent doing what she loved and cherished, teaching 4-5 year old children about Jesus.

She was preceded in death by all 6 of her siblings, Ray Mobley, her husband of over 50 years and her oldest child, Ray Mobley, Jr. of Oregon.

Those left to cherish her memory are hr daughter Charlotte Mobley and granddaughter Ashley Mobley of Oregon. Her son Denny Mobley of Longview, Texas. Her son Buford Mobley, grandchildren Joshua Mobley and Erin Mobley Reagan, great-grandchildren Nathan Mobley and Ashotn Reagan, all of Memphis.

To know her was to truly love her. She will be greatly miss, but we are relieved that she finally received her Heavenly reward.

A “celebration of her life” service will be held at the Mobberly Baptist church, 625 E. Loop 281 in Longview, Texas (903-663-3100) March 11, 2013, 10 AM, with a fellowship meal to follow. A private burial will be in Shreveport, Louisiana.
