Beverly J. Pinner, 88, formerly of Memphis, died Friday, October 28, 2011 at Maple Ridge Assisted Living in Dyersburg, TN. Mrs. Pinner was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Raymond Pinner. She was a member of Independent Presbyterian Church where she and her husband worked in the Nursery for over 41 years. Mrs. Pinner is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Sellars of Dyersburg; two grandsons, Rev. Kevin Sellars of Herriman, and Rev. Patrick Sellars of Dyersburg; three great grandchildren, Joshua, Caleb, and Hannah; and a brother, Kingston Blenis of MS. The family will receive friends at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens 3700 N. Germantown Parkway on Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 6 – 8 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (formerly Memory Hill Gardens) on Germantown Parkway at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 30, 2011. The family requests that memorials be sent to Independent Presbyterian Church Memphis, TN.
