Brooke Lynn DeRosia

Brooke Lynn DeRosia, 19, of Cordova, TN, died Wednesday, January 4, 2012. Service is 10 AM Monday, January 9, 2012, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Rd. Family will receive friends 5 - 8 PM Sunday, January 8, 2012.

Brooke was the beloved wife of soldier Joshua David DeRosia; the couple planned to celebrate their first wedding anniversary on January 28. Josh will deeply miss evenings hanging out with Brooke, his favorite person in the world. A student at Bartlett High School, Brooke was a wonderful friend to everyone she met, extremely kind-hearted, and always looked on the bright side of things. Strong-minded with a wicked sense of humor, Brooke always enjoyed dancing and being silly, whether at home with Josh or out with friends. Brooke never wore a frown. Beautiful beyond measure, inside and out, we will not forget our most cherished wife, loving big sister, wonderful daughter, and very best friend.

In addition to her husband Josh, Brooke is survived by her mother, Shelley Thorpe Lacaden, sisters Megan and Carly Lacaden, grandfather Thomas Thorpe, and grandmother Minette Harrison. Niece Kiley Lacaden and nephew Bryant Austin Dunagen.
