Carol Ann Leindecker

Carol A. Leindecker, age 86 passed peacefully on March 2, 2024 at Methodist North Hospital. Prior to her retirement she was an Administrative Assistant with Firestone. Carol was a member of the Catholic Church of Ascension.

She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur W. Leindecker, her parents Eugene and Marjorie Alshouse, her sister Lois Geiger, also grandson Kyle DeGroff. Carol leaves four daughters, Pam (Noel) Goldsmith, Debbie Perkins, Becky DeGroff and Barbara (Dale) Batts. Carol treasured her seven grandchildren who in her eyes could do no wrong. Justin (Amanda) DeGroff, Rachel (Kazuo) Nukui, Kaleb (Melissa) Batts, Dr. Zach Goldsmith, Kelsey (Quentin) Slade, Matt and Tori Perkins.

She was also blessed beyond measure to have three great-grandchildren, Liam Batts, Allyson Slade and Josie DeGroff. She is also survived by her brother Neil (Barbara) Alshouse. Carol treasured her family most of all and enjoyed spending time with them whenever she could.

The visitation will be held Thursday, March 7th at 10:00 am at Catholic Church of the Ascension 3680 Ramill Rd, Memphis, TN followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to West Clinic or Le Bonheur Hospital.
