Carol Jean Rush

Carol was preceded in death by her mother Linda Bomprezzi.

She leaves behind, her loving husband Michael Rush, her son Zachary Walton, her twin sister Cheryl Garner, nieces Leah Garner and Kara Garner, and great niece Carley Onsby.

With faith in our hearts and tears in our eyes, we remember Carol, who entered eternal rest at age 56 after a courageous 5 year battle with cancer. Though her body grew weary, her spirit remained strong. Carol faced her journey with grace, resilience, and a quiet faith that carried carried through even the hardest days. Her strength was not just in how she fought, but in how she continued to love deeply and unconditionally.

Carol's greatest joy was her family. She shared a sacred and unbreakable bond with her twin sister, Cheryl. A connection woven from the very beginning of life, filled with shared laughter, memories, and unwavering devotion.

By her side through every appointment, every setback, and every victory, stood her loving husband, Mike Rush. Through five long years, he walked with her in strength and tenderness, reflecting the true meaning of commitment in sickness and health.

Carol's creative spirit shone brightly through her jewelry.

While we grieve deeply, we trust that Carol is now free from pain and wrapped in eternal peace. The God who sustained her through her battle has welcomed her home into everlasting light.

Carol fought bravely. She loved fully. And now she rests in perfect peace. Forever loved. Forever remembered. Until we meet again.

Visitation will be held at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133, US, on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133, US, on March 6, 2026, at 1:00 pm.

A Committal Service will be held at Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133, US, on March 6, 2026, immediately following the service.
