He was born to the late Cliff and Elise Tidwell on June 2nd, 1947 in Memphis, Tennessee. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Tidwell. He served in the United States Air Force and did two tours in Vietnam.
Charles is survived by his sons, Adam Tidwell (Hayley), Aaron Tidwell; and his daughter, Allison Tidwell.
Family will receive friends from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Friday, September 3rd at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN. Services will follow at 1:00pm. Burial will be at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Rd, Memphis, TN at 2:30pm.
