Chester R. David, 62, of Cordova, passed away Monday August 12, 2013. Mr. David was preceded in death by his two daughters, Karen David Hunsucker and Kimberly David Mulligan; his sister, Sue Wilson; and one grandson. Mr. David is survived by his wife, Bonita G. David; his son, SSG. Richard W. David of Ft. Benning, GA.; three brothers: John David of Louisville, KY, Tom David of Goshen, KY, and Alvin David also of Kentucky; and one sister, Patricia David of Georgetown, KY. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A Gathering of Friends will be held Friday August 16, 2013 from 5-7pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Pkwy. in Bartlett, TN. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday August 17, 2013 at 11am at Faith Baptist Church, also in Bartlett.
