
Claudia Lee Roberts Parlow, 69, died November 29 of complications from cancer and pneumonia. Claudia is survived by Terry, her husband of over 50 years, daughter Christi and son-in-law Gary Sisk, son Timothy Parlow, grandson Nathan Sisk and wife Amelia Sewell Sisk, granddaughters Lauren Sisk Edmiston and husband Jonathan Edmiston, Hannah Parlow, April Parlow, great-grandson Gabriel Sisk, brothers Jimmy and David Roberts, and aunt Mary Manhardt. Claudia graduated from Whitehaven High School in 1962. She had an extensive career in several major medical device firms in the Memphis area including Smith and Nephew, Wright Medical Technology, and Medtronic. She retired from Medtronic in 2007 as a senior manager of marketing. Those who knew Claudia knew her for her strong and unwavering faith in the Lord. Claudia and her husband were members of First Evangelical Church in Memphis, where Claudia was very passionate about mission work. She had participated in a number of mission trips and served on the mission board. Claudia was active in Bible Study Fellowship for over 30 years. For over a decade, she was the teaching leader of the BSF group that met in Southaven, Miss. There will be a visitation on Tuesday December 10 from 5-7 p.m. and a memorial service Wednesday December 11 at noon. Both will be held at First Evangelical Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to First Evangelical Church Missions or Germantown Cancer Foundation.
