So excited when Tia Connie came to California to visit. I will never forget that she would ask me to wash her plate because she didn't want to ruin her nails Lol! Tia was definitely a Princess . 

Connie was a great sister in law!  She was always quite the lady and spent a lot of time dressing and doing her hair and make up.   She apparently taught her beautiful daughters to always look beautiful every day because each of them do!  One of the funniest stories I have was on one of their visits out here to the farm, John, the man who kept cattle at our place, had a cow giving birth.  It was having difficulty andJohn was  going to have to intervene and pull the calf out!  Everyone wAs standing on the board fence to watch and here come Connie out, all dressed in a black lace dress and four inch heels and up on the fence she climbed!  The calf came out ok and mama cow and the calf were ok!  John told us later that he was shaking as he pulled because so often the calf will be still born!  He didn’t want that to happen with Connie and all of the kids lined up around the fence watching!  Every one was clapping  when the calf stood  up!  John said he didn’t think he had ever had someone so dressed up watching a cow give birth!  I think Reggie and Freddy were there also!

She will be missed!!  I loved Connie, when she lived near us when i was younger and Bob was overseas for the Navy, i would help her write letters to her friends in California and boy if i didn't know what she was trying to say she would start throwing something at me, the next minute she was smiling and hugging me and saying she was sorry but never a dull moment around there, and when Bob came home and surprised her one day, i don't know if she was caught off guard or what but she turned and flung an iron skillet at him.   couldn't believe someone that little could do that.   then she ran to him and jumped up and hugged him.   she was a sweetheart! most the time lol


Mrs. Connie was a sweet and loving Lady. She tried to feed me to death!! Lol such a sweet soul. Reggie I Love you and I’m here for you and the family. Rest In Peace Mrs.Connie💖

One feisty/lovable lady.
Will be missed by many.
