Daniel C. Chalk

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence E. Chalk and Sybil Chalk. He was also preceded by his wife of thirty four years, Jean Selvo-Chalk. As well as two brothers, Johnny Chalk and Eddie Chalk.

Dan is survived by three children; Margaret Banks, Daniel Chalk Jr. (Cathy), Cheryl Jean Knapp (John). He also leaves behind four grandchildren; Cypress Chalk, Andrea Chalk, Ian Knapp, and Charlotte Chalk.

He is also survived by his sister, Emma Lee Brasher (Claude) and his brother in law William Selvo (Connie) and sister in law Noreen French.

Dan served his Country in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He also served his community in the Memphis Police Department for over thirty years, reaching the rank of Captain. Dan was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Bartlett.

He volunteered at the Mruk Center on Aging and the Baxter County Regional Hospital in Mountain Home,

AR, where he and his wife, Jean, had a vacation home.
