Daniel James Ward, 71, of Bartlett was born August 20, 1943 and passed away September 9, 2014. He was a member of Bartlett United Methodist Church and retired after a long career in accounting and finance. Mr. Ward is survived by his wife, Lawana Ward; daughters, Michelle Malarney, Jennifer (Jay) Roth and Claire Ward; grandchildren, Kathryn, Riley and Allie. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until service time at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Bartlett United Methodist Church.
