David "Rick" Head

David (Rick) Head was born on 5/24/1954 in Fort Smith, AR. He grew up in Little Rock, AR with four brothers (Ronny, Larry, Terry, and Donny). As a teenager, he worked for his dad building homes. after receiving an Associate Degree in electronics technology he worked for Beckman Instruments. Rick then co-owned Image Computer Systems, a company that builds computer systems from scratch. He did professional photography and graphics design for Mid-South products, Bellevue Baptist Church, and other smaller venues. His last employment was as a quality control for Starcon International.

Rick enjoyed playing the trumpet in the church orchestra and a few local big bands. His love for photography was shared with his son Wesley, nephew Scott, and friends. Rick also collected guns and enjoyed target shooting. Raising families is always challenging and Rick did his best to raise two sons (Wesley and Robbie), daughters (Roxanne and Rebecca), and stepchildren (Deborah, Eddie, and Billy). He dearly loved his four adopted grandchildren (Jordan, Anthony, Jasmine, and Everett), but his greatest joy in his final days was holding three month old granddaughter (Aria). Rick’s body was broken on earth but he is now healed again in Heaven. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. The family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers, love, and support throughout this difficult time.
