David Dalton Walker

David Dalton Walker, of Memphis Tennessee, passed away June 13th, 2024 at the age of 36. He is preceded in death by his father, David Sidney Walker, as well as his mother, Lori Elaine Walker. He leaves a younger brother, Andrew Aaron Walker. A beloved member of his community, David was well known for his dedication to helping others, a positive spirit, and a steadfast pursuit of education.

Born December 4th, 1987, David’s journey began at Harding Academy where he attended grades 1 to 12, graduating in 2007. His commitment to his education and his faith was evident from an early age when he excelled in religious studies as well as history. After graduation, David continued his academic journey to the University of Memphis where his passion for learning flourished and he earned a master’s degree in political science.

David’s kindness and generosity touched the lives of many as he was a cherished friend, a loving family member, and a respected member of his community. His enthusiasm and genuine care for others left an indelible mark on everyone he met and his life is a testament to the power of passion, love, and determination. He will be remembered for his bright spirit and the positive impact he made on the world.

A memorial service will be held at Park Avenue Church of Christ on July 24th, 2024 at 11 A.M
