Donald William Fredericks

Donald was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Bartlett TN and was a graduate of Franklin High School in Stockton, CA and was retired from working over 30 years as a Correctional Sergeant at San Quentin State Prison and with the California Corrections Peace Officers Association (CCPOA) retiring in 2003. Donald moved to Tennessee in 2005 and enjoyed traveling in his 5th wheel trailer having memberships with the Escapees and Good Sam travel clubs and was a regular at the Cumberland County Playhouse in Crossville TN.

He is preceded in death by his father, Donald W Frederick Sr.; mother, Mary Francis (Fran) McKeon; his brothers David Fredericks and Gary Fredericks, both of California.

He is survived by his son, Thomas Fredericks of Chattanooga TN; grandchildren Danielle (Michael) Fredericks of Burleson TX, and Joshua (Gerrika) Fredericks and great-grandchildren Whyatt, Parker, Clayton, and Artemis, Fredericks of Chattanooga TN, his brothers Robert Fredericks of Clovis, CA, Ken (Chris) Wright of Salem, Utah, and Jeff (Sue) Fredericks, of Rockaway, NJ. Donald also leaves behind his loving companion of over eight years, Carol Joyce Bumpus of Arlington TN.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday November 9, 2024 at 1PM at Faith Baptist Church 3755 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN 38002, with Brother Danny Sinquefield and John Finley officiating. Interment will be held at Park View Cemetery in Manteca, CA at a future date.
