Dorothy Mae Arata Cole went to be with her Savior Sunday at Clare House Hospice, Tulsa, Oklahoma after a short illness.Dot, as she was affectionately called by all who knew her, was born June 20, 1923 to Robert Lois Arata and Carrie Mae Arata of Memphis, TN. Dot was married to Duffie E. Cole for 62 years until widowed in June, 2005. She leaves four children, Betty Lee (Cole) Cashon of Tulsa OK; Duffie E.Cole Jr of Saulsbury, TN; Patsey Ann (Cole) Valeriano of Bozeman, MT; and Dottie June (Cole) Stacy of Erlanger, KY. She leaves thirteen grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, ten siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was the love and light of her family and will be greatly missed. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, December 31 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN.
