Harry Douglas Wells of Bartlett, TN passed Sunday, November 29, 2015, at the age of 84. He was born on August 13, 1931 in Kansas City Missouri to Harry L. Wells and Avis L. Hunt. Doug was a retired pilot and security guard. He graduated from Dallas Aviation School in 1952 while serving in the Air Force. Doug was a pilot examiner for many years and a pianist. He was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy L. Wells, who passed away on September 14, 2014. Doug leaves behind his son Robert F. Lee and his wife Crystal, a daughter Holly L. Cole and husband Andrew, grandchildren Kasson and Caleb Sanborn, Carly Cosmini, Sam and Seth Cole. He also leaves many “adopted” grandchildren he grew to love very much, as well as many friends he considered family.
