Edward Johnson Jr., 96, of Memphis, passed away on Tuesday, March 05, 2013. He was preceded in death by his two previous wives, Mary Jane Johnson and June Brown Johnson. Mr. Johnson is survived by his children, Kathy Nolan (Larry), Bob Johnson (Lana) and Larry Johnson, a stepson Don Brown Jr. (Cindy), 5 grandchildren Kelley Nolan, Trey Nolan, Rej Johnson, Whitney Coulombe and April Reed, 5 great-grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, and 4 step-great-grandchildren. Mr. Johnson retired after 42 plus years at International Harvester, was a member at the Mullins United Methodist church, a member of the Holiday Ramblers Club and 32nd Degree Mason Scottish Rite at Unity Lodge #95. Memorial contributions may be made to Mullins United Methodist Church or a charity of one’s choice. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7 from 12-2pm with the funeral starting at 2pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd.
