Condolences to the family of Glenn Moore.  I knew him when I was a secretary in the Homicide Bureau for 15 years.  He was friends with my three brothers, Nick, John, and Sam Harvey, who were also Memphis Policemen.  My prayers are with the family.

Rest in peace Captain. Had the honor to work for you on the North Precinct midnight shift. You were a policeman's policeman and well respected by all.

Our condolences are with your family at this time.  I worked in your home during the late sixties taking care of Laurel and Carol. You all were so nice to me.

Words can't describe the inspiration he was to so many young men of the Memphis Police Department. I know I was one. He was tough when needed and kind when called for and always fair with his judgement. If you wanted someone to pattern your life after you could do a lot worse. One of the best ones. RIP Captain.

Frances,  we are so sorry to hear of Glenn's passing.  We remember the good times of long ago at Labelle Baptist Church.  May God give you peace and comfort in  the  days ahead knowing what a good man he was.

So sorry to hear of the loss of Glenn Moore.  He was a fine man and I enjoyed working with him for many years.  My sincere condolences to the family.

The Moore family, with their two children, and our family, with our three,  became close friends during our years at Balmoral Baptist Church.  What wonderful memories we have of our times spend together there. They are, forever a part of us and our hearts are broken over this loss. Capt. Moore was always so very good to me and then when I married he was equally as good to my husband and son. He always treated me as part of the family. Frances and Carol I will always be here for you. Love you.

We were truly blessed to be introduced to Glenn & Frances Moore in late September 2001, just a couple of weeks after the 911 attacks.  We, like they, had made the decision to NOT cancel our planned cruise vacation in spite of the tragedy, and were put together at our dining table.  We will forever remember that cruise.  Since then, we have visited each other, and kept in touch via email, snail mail and telephone.  Though our relationship is long distance, we will certainly miss Glenn.   Some of our favorite memories of Glenn are his many and fabulous stories from his amazing life, and, of course, his devotion to his wife and family.  Our prayers and sincere best wishes to Frances, and to Carol, Anthony and Tori.

Glenn Moore was my first Captain on the Memphis Police Department, at the old North Precinct A-shift.    He was the best Sjoft Commander that I ever had the pleasur and honor or working for.  RIP, Captain (and friend) Glenn Moore.

I would like to send my deepest sympathy to Frances and family at this time my thoughts and prayers are with you,for over 20 years Glenn was in my chair every month. We had many conversations over the years mostly about his family, and he was like family to me! I have to say Glenn was a perfect example of a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. I will miss him and so thankful god put him in my life.
