Rev. Harold Joe Coulter, 83, of Bartlett, died Friday, December 2, 2011 at Methodist University Hospital. Rev. Coulter is survived by his wife of 60 years, Denzil “Sue” Coulter, his two daughters, Linda (Neal) McDonald of Jonesboro, AR, and Joyce (Robert) Coffey of Memphis; his five siblings, Demaris Freeman, and Dixie (Robert) Simpson all of Sheridan, AR, Gale Coulter of Dallas, TX, Glen (Dutchie) Coulter of Palo Alto, CA, and Sylvia Ann (Roger) Fry of Grand Prairie, TX; five grandchildren, Patricia McTigue, Christopher McDonald, Lisa Hutchens, Emily Coffey, and Katrina McDonald; and seven great-grandchildren, Aaron, Abby, Grace, Savannah, Olivia, Madelyn, and Boston. The family will receive friends at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens 3700 N. Germantown Parkway, Bartlett on Tuesday, December 6th, beginning at 11:30 a.m. Funeral Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Interment will follow onsite after the funeral. The family requests that memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
