Bill never met a stranger and would always extend a helping hand to anyone in need. After 35 years of dedicated service Bill retired from being a truck driver. He was an Air Force veteran. In his younger years he was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time at his cabin in Pickwick with friends and family.
Bill is survived by his wife of 34 years, Dottie Jones; son William Jones (Kris); son Robert Jones; son David Wing (Gina); daughter Amanda Means (Andy); 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A visitation for Bill will be held Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Bill may be offered to the Alzheimer's Association (699 Oakleaf Office Lane Memphis, TN 38117)
