Helen D. Holland

Helen Dean Holland, 84, passed away at her home in Arlington, TN on February 11, 2012. Born on May 19, 1927 in Tishomingo, MS, to John and Mary Champion, Helen was surrounded by siblings, Coonee, Edna, Mary, Peete, and Bud. She was a member of Hickory Withe Baptist Church and Arlington Senior Citizens Center. Her friends said, “the party is here”, when she walked in the room. She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior W. Holland, and daughter, Vickie Dent. Mrs. Holland is survived by her three sons, Ronnie Holland (Carmen) of Millington, Ricky Holland (Linda) of Arlington, and Eddie Holland (Susan) of Arlington, and son-in-law, Billy Dent of Germantown; two sisters, and two brothers, 15 grandchildren, Brian Sonderman of Gurlison, TN, Chris Holland of Jasper AL, Terry Holland of Jasper, AL, Kim Willis (Tim) of Munford, Cory Holland of Arlington, Brandon Holland (Lidia) of Millington, Christopher Holland of Eads, Josh Dent of Cordova, Casey Dent of Cordova, Justin Holland of Arlington, Jesse Holland of Arlington, Michael Sonderman (Cristy) of Burlison, Christ Kirk of Memphis, Jonathon Gividen of Millington, and Lidia Holland of Millington; and great grandchildren, Hunter Holland of Lakeland, Emily Willis of Munford, Layla Holland of Millington, and Taylor Ellison of Munford. The family will receive friends at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens Friday, February 17 from 5-8. Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 18 at 2:00. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens (Formerly Memory Hill Gardens).
