Helen was a professional dancer and dance teacher who loved to dance whenever she had the opportunity. She was an awesome full-time mother and wife who lived her life lovingly raising her children and grandchildren.
Helen Jane Vandevoir, age 91, of Stanton, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on May 10, 2022. Helen was born May 31, 1930, in Danville, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her husband Victor Vandevoir, her parents Calvin and Hazel Taylor, her brother and sister-in-law Robert and Christine Taylor, her sister Margaret Taylor, daughter Michele Brimm (Don), and her grandson in law, Brent Wilson.
Helen is survived by her stepson Victor Vaughn, daughters Sue Rankin (Tony), Mignon Jane Stetman (Greg), Lisa Cunningham, Dara Vandevoir (Bruce). She also leaves behind grandchildren Laura Cheston (Cary), Robert Boatwright, Beth Wilson, Ashley Hardin (Ian), Rachel Brouillette (Sam); and great grandchildren Bailey Hardin, Ava Jane Cheston and Noah Cheston.
The family will gather Saturday, May 14th from 1:00pm to 2:00p.m. to receive friends. A funeral service will be held immediately following on Saturday at 2:00p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133.
