HOUSER R. HALL, 90, Senior Master Sergeant, retired Air Force/Tennessee Air National Guard, died peacefully at home on October 29, 2010. Family to receive friends from 11a.m. - 1p.m. Monday, November 1, at Memphis Funeral Home And Memorial Gardens, Germantown Rd. with Graveside Service following at 1 p.m. He was the son of Ethel and Louis Hall of Ripley, MS. He was a World War II veteran serving with the 451st Bomb Squadron of the Army Ninth Air Corp. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service. Houser was recalled during the Korean War, and then worked for the Tennessee Air National Guard until retirement. Houser was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt deer and turkey. He coached youth baseball for many years. He was a Baptist by faith and a former deacon. He is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn Hall, of 63 years; a daughter, Ginger Hall; two sons, Charles Hall and Bo Hall; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by one sister, Evon Dickerson.
