Howard Harris Cooper, 95, of Bartlett went to be with his Lord on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Covington Care Nursing Home. He was born in Cordova, TN on August 26, 1918, the son of Walter N. Cooper and Allie Brown Cooper. He was retired from Rhodes College and was a long time member of Open Door Bible Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Tiny Sue Joyner Cooper, two sons Donald Cooper (Barbara) of Lakeland and Frank Cooper (Fay) of Rosemark, five granddaughters, Pamela Tyler (Byron), Brenda Berthelson (Chad), Angela Dickerson (Greg), Karen Latimer (John) and Dawn Chambers (Ricky), thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Visitation will be Sunday, September 22 from 5-8p.m. and the service will be Monday, September 23 at 10 a.m., all held at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd.
