Iris Loryene Taylor, age 94, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Thursday December 6, 2018. Iris was born June 13, 1924 in Edith, Tennessee to Mollye and Kennie Taylor. She graduated Halls High School. Iris was employed at Sears for 43 years and was a member of the Sears Retiree Club. She was also a member of the Speedway Terrace and Colonial Baptist Church. She was cared for by Kenneth R. Taylor Jr.
Iris is preceded in death by her siblings Howard Taylor, Kenneth Ralph Taylor, Louise Grady, and Peggy Ruth Simpson.
A visitation for Iris will be held Monday, December 10, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM with a prayer service to follow at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133, followed by a graveside service at 2:00 PM
