Jackie had a fun loving, vibrant and spunky personality that would leave an impression on those who crossed her path. The loves of her life were her husband, daughter, granddaughter, great granddaughter and thankfully fell in love with her great grandson was born just 3 weeks before her untimely death. We are thankful she was able to hold him in her arms before her passing. The other loves of her life was Elvis Presley and Memphis State basketball. She was a very loyal friend and has a lifelong sisterhood with Barbara, Rhonda and Yvonne. There was no breaking this bond that will continue through eternity.
She was a dedicated, hardworking nurse at Methodist Central in Memphis, TN for 30 years and after moving to Beech Bluff, Tennessee, continued her nursing career at Regional Hospital , owned by Methodist in Jackson, Tennessee. Her life was dedicated to taking care of others. When she retired, Jackie and her husband enjoyed traveling the world. They had a sailboat that they kept at Aqua Yacht Marina, Pickwick, Tennessee where they met lifelong friends and spent most of the warm weather season there for 21 years.
Jackie leaves behind her husband of 58 years J.B Dyer; her daughter Traci Dyer, granddaughter Ashley Perez, great granddaughter, Amelia Perez and Baby Ivan Perez. She also leaves behind her cousin, Charlie McCoy of Nashville, Tennessee. Her family meant everything to her and she will be missed more than we can possibly express. We are happy that she is finally able to be with her son who passed at the age of 15 in 1985. It is his turn to have his mom back in his arms. She is now with the Lord and her beloved son Jeff which gives us some peace.
